Two infant spirits, one of which is water and the other is fire, have not appeared to us in a very long time. The creators of Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements did not invent a new storyline; rather, they just continued their current one. But unlike what you're used to, they didn't just stick to one temple; instead, they planned to visit a number of historic sites. As previously, only through interacting and supporting one another will it be possible to reach the temples. You are still aware that only other substances can interact with each other, such as only other substances can interact with fire. You will therefore find a way out and discover all the mysteries of the ancient temples by conquering one trap after another. Both heroes must gather crystals along the way in order to go past all obstacles and traps.

Only after carefully analyzing all the hazards and traps, including burning fires and water obstacles, is it possible to complete each level. You will realize after a careful investigation where the boy will pass the fire and where the girl will be able to pass the water.
